Drugs are an important issue in contemporary society. In order to gain a better insight into the attitudes, experiences and perceptions of our community with regards to illicit drugs, Hindu Voice UK would like as many Hindus as possible to answer the following simple questions:


1) Do you or have you used illicit drugs?

a) Regularly - 3%

b) Once in a while - 28%

c) A long time ago, but not any more - 38%

d) Never - 31%

2) Do you think that there is a drug problem in the Hindu community?

a) Very much so - 19%

b) Amongst certain sections of the community - 60%

c) Definitely not - 5%

d) Unsure - 16%

3) What are your views towards drug use?

a) Nothing wrong with it - 8%

b) OK in moderation - 10%

c) Dissaprove, but don't think necessarily makes a bad person - 64%

d) Utterly despicable - 18%
